What is Regenerys Self®?
What exactly is Regenerys Self® and how is it different from a filler?+

Regenerys Self® is not a filler. It is an autologous fat banking programme. A small amount of your own fat is harvested under local anaesthetic, processed at T&CT's HTA-licensed laboratory at 85–95% post-thaw cell viability, and stored as individual 5ml doses — each one five times the volume of a standard filler syringe.

A filler is an inert synthetic gel injected into your tissue. It does nothing biologically. Your own fat is living material packed with stem cells, growth factors, and the structural components that give youthful tissue its quality. It integrates, develops blood supply, and becomes permanent tissue. The difference is not incremental — it is categorical.

"Not a Filler. A Self."

Who can offer me Regenerys Self®?+

Exclusively from approved plastic surgeons and advanced filler specialists. Not available at injectables clinics, medspas, or from non-surgical practitioners. The programme requires the clinical skills to perform tumescent micro-liposuction and fat injection — skills that belong to qualified surgeons and advanced specialists only. This is by design, and it is part of why you can trust it.

Who makes Regenerys Self®?+

Regenerys Self® is a programme of Tissue & Cell Technologies Ltd (T&CT) — a Cambridge-based medtech company, HTA Licensed and MHRA Regulated. US patients' samples are processed and stored at T&CT's Dallas, Texas facility. UK, European, and Middle Eastern patients' samples are at T&CT's Sheffield GMP facility. vs HA fillers and cadaveric products
How is Regenerys Self® different from HA fillers like Juvederm or Restylane?+

HA fillers are synthetic polymer gels — factory-made, inert, with 0% biological activity. They temporarily occupy space in your tissue, are gradually dissolved by your body, and must be re-injected every 12–18 months indefinitely.

Regenerys Self® uses your own living cells — 85–95% viable — which integrate into your tissue, develop blood supply, and become permanent. The cells in your banked fat are also biologically active: they produce growth factors, improve skin quality, and influence the surrounding tissue in ways no synthetic gel ever could.

"Synthetic fillers borrow volume. Regenerys Self® rebuilds tissue."

What about cadaveric products like Alloclae — aren't they also "natural"?+

Alloclae and similar cadaveric adipose products use human fat tissue — but from deceased donors. After processing, the tissue is acellular: the cells are not viable. There are no living stem cells, no biological activity, and no immune advantage over synthetic products. It is an inert scaffold derived from someone else's body.

Regenerys Self® uses your own living tissue with 85–95% viable cells. This is not a marginal clinical difference — it is the difference between dead donor material and your own living biology. The biological activity, the integration potential, the skin quality benefit, and the zero rejection risk are all properties of living autologous tissue specifically. Cadaveric products do not share these properties.

"Someone else's dead fat. Or yours, alive, preserved, and permanent. Your choice."

Are there any applications where HA filler is still the better choice?+

Yes — we are committed to honest medicine. HA remains superior for lip border definition and small precision corrections where reversibility is important. It also produces immediate visible results, which matters if you have a deadline two to four weeks away.

For structural volume, GLP-1 facial restoration, hand rejuvenation, scar correction, and any treatment where the goal is permanent, biologically active results that accumulate rather than dissolve — Regenerys Self® is the right answer. "Synthetic fillers had a good run. It's Self now."

The harvest procedure
Does the harvest hurt?+

The area is thoroughly numbed with tumescent local anaesthetic before anything begins. During the procedure you will feel pressure and movement — not pain. The most accurate comparison is a dental procedure. Most patients report it was considerably less uncomfortable than they expected.

After the procedure the donor area feels tender for two to five days, like a bruise, manageable with over-the-counter pain relief. Typically resolved within a week.

How long does it take and can I go home the same day?+

Yes — the harvest is 30 to 40 minutes. You go home the same day. No hospital admission, no general anaesthetic. Most patients return to desk work the same day or the following morning. "One morning. No repeat performance required."

Do I ever need to do it again?+

The harvest is designed to be done once. A 100–150 ml harvest yields 16–24 individual 5ml doses — enough for multiple years of treatment. Your banked supply does not expire. If you ever exhaust your supply and wish to continue, a second harvest is possible — but the exception, not the rule.

Results and doses
How big is one dose and how does it compare to a filler syringe?+

One Regenerys Self® dose is 5ml — five times the volume of a standard 1ml filler syringe. A single dose can cover multiple facial zones in a session. The cost-per-ml comparison with HA at equivalent volume is compelling from the 7th dose onwards.

When will I see results?+

Results develop over 8–12 weeks as fat integrates and develops blood supply. The first session establishes a biological foundation; the second session is when most patients notice meaningful visible improvement. Results accumulate across sessions and become more established over time.

This is different from HA's immediate effect — and it is different because it is permanent. "Your fat doesn't dissolve. Neither does the result."

Are the results actually permanent?+

The fat that successfully integrates — typically 60–85% of injected volume — is permanent. It becomes structural tissue, develops blood supply, and does not dissolve. Results are cumulative across sessions. Compare this with HA, which requires indefinite maintenance every 12–18 months producing no cumulative benefit. "Fillers are borrowed time. Self is permanent."

Storage and banking
Where is my fat stored?+

US patients: T&CT's Dallas, Texas GMP facility. UK, European, and Middle Eastern patients: T&CT's Sheffield GMP facility. Both operate at -196°C in liquid nitrogen vapour phase with continuous temperature monitoring and annual independent audits.

Is there a storage fee?+

Your first six doses are included in the initial fee with no additional storage charge. For remaining banked doses after the sixth, a very low annual storage fee applies — a fraction of the cost of a single filler appointment — keeping your biological reserve available indefinitely. "Self-sufficient. One harvest. No maintenance. No subscription. No expiry."

Can I use my stored Self at a different clinic?+

Yes. Your banked supply is available at your original clinic or at any participating Regenerys Self® partner clinic — UK, US, Europe, or Middle East. Your T&CT account travels with you.

Cost and pricing
How much does Regenerys Self® cost?+

The T&CT banking fee is between $2,000 and $2,500 for the initial package — harvest logistics, processing, banking, and your first six 5ml doses. Each additional dose from $395, plus a very low annual storage fee for remaining banked supply. Your surgeon's consultation, harvest procedure, and injection session fees are in addition at the practice's standard rates.

Is it more expensive than fillers?+

For 2–3 filler syringes total: HA is cheaper. We are honest about this. Regenerys Self® is not designed for single-session patients.

For 10 or more injection sessions over several years — especially patients targeting multi-zone correction or sustained volume improvement — Regenerys Self® is substantially more cost-effective. Each 5ml dose covers multiple zones at a fraction of the equivalent HA cost. HA at $3,000–6,000 per year costs $15,000–30,000 over five years with no permanent result. One Regenerys Self® harvest lasts years, with results that accumulate rather than dissolve. And your stored supply is always available for any additional or different future treatment.

Safety and regulation
Can my body reject its own fat?+

No. "Your body has never rejected itself. It won't start now." Autologous tissue generates no immune response because there is no foreign antigen. No granuloma risk. No allergy risk. No rejection. These risks are absent — not minimised, absent. They simply do not exist for autologous tissue. Self-rejection isn't a thing.

How is T&CT regulated?+

T&CT is HTA Licensed (Human Tissue Authority), MHRA Regulated, GMP Compliant, and ISO 13485 certified. In the US, the programme operates under the FDA's simplified autologous framework — and T&CT notifies the FDA, is fully transparent to all FDA requests, and compliant with all guidances. We are the new gold standard in autologous tissue management. Full regulatory detail at tissueandcell.tech ↗

How does Regenerys Self® compare to same-day fat transfer?+

Same-day fat transfer (standard lipofilling) uses fresh, unprocessed fat harvested and injected in the same procedure. Post-thaw viability of standard same-day fat is typically 25–30%. Regenerys Self® achieves 85–95% post-thaw viability through T&CT's proprietary cryopreservation process — three to four times higher. You also bank enough for 16–24 future treatment sessions from a single harvest, without needing another liposuction procedure each time.

Your body's own cells do."
